LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

SUNSEEKER events take place across lands with deep and layered histories. Many of our gatherings occur within Muscogee (Creek), Osage and Cherokee Nations. We recognize the sovereignty of these nations and the ongoing presence of their communities.

As native citizens, this acknowledgment is not symbolic. It reflects our lived relationship to this region and a commitment to being specific about where we gather.

Each event page will identify the Nation connected to its location. This is part of our standard practice.

We approach every space with respect for its history and for the communities who continue to steward it.
